LMAO at all the Red Sox haters laughing about the obstruction call. You're all acting EXACTLY like the fans you dislike so much. #hypocrite

That it happened to the Red Sox in the World Series makes me love the obstruction call — the right call — that much more.

How will Middlebrooks obstruction error rank next to Buckner's if Red Sox lose this series?

Jose Oquendo should've sent Yadier Molina home & we might not be talking about an obstruction and RIGHT call! Boston Red Sox crying!

Umps got the obstruction call right last night in St. Louis. They got it wrong with Fisk & Armbrister in '75. Welcome to Red Sox Nation!

The Obstruction call is the headline, but Farrell's poor handling of a National League baseball game is what cost the Red Sox.

The sad soulful Red Sox curse thing is OVER. They've won TWO World Series. They're the Yankees, not the Cubs, obstruction call or not.

Are Red Sox fans going to vacate the 2003 ALDS back to Oakland thanks to the controversial obstruction call that went in their favor?

Biggest obstruction rule boosters: Those who bet against the Red Sox soon as they realized Peavy was starting. Um, so I hear.

That obstruction rule sure is obstructing with the Red Sox buying themselves another World Series trophy.

The only way I'll ever get over that obstruction call is if the Red Sox end up winning this World Series. Otherwise, it'll haunt me for life

Guy standing right in front of a subway turnstile wearing a Red Sox hat. Nobody makes a single "obstruction" joke. Who says NYC isn't kind?

Red Sox fans are whiners. Look at the root cause of the play. Bad throw resulted in obstruction call. Right call was made. #suckitup

Red Sox complaint that game shouldn't be "decided" on obstruction implies they know it's the right call, but don't like the timing of it

It would be 100% fitting if Allen Craig misses the rest of the World Series after the Red Sox got hosed on that obstruction call.

One last thing about Red Sox/Cardinals game....what would Middlebrooks have had to do NOT to be called for obstruction?

Umps got obstruction absolutely right. If I were Red Sox fan I'd be angry game ended that way, but that doesn't make call "less" correct.
