Law school graduates who want to practice law in Missouri faced an additional hurdle Tuesday when some had trouble uploading exam answers through ExamSoft, the testing software company. Applicants in several states encountered the issue. According to the Associated Press, the software is downloaded to the bar applicants computer, the applicant responds to questions and at the end of the exam, the file locks. When the applicant connects to the Internet, the answers are uploaded. The problem was that many users had long delays in uploading their answer file, or received notices that the upload failed.

Even the dean of the St. Louis University School of Law took notice of the problem.

Meanwhile, the Twitter account for the software company was busy responding to frustrated applicants from several states, and posting deadline extensions.
