Johnson-Javois will be pad the same amount she makes as CEO of the St. Louis Integrated Health Network -- $138,915. One of her tasks will be developing a report outlining the commission's findings and recommendations. That report is due in September 2015.
The hiring raised questions among some regular Ferguson protesters.
Okay, I've been neutral about the #Ferguson Commission. But today's announcement of a Managing Director + $150k donation have me confused.

@lattegriot @Nettaaaaaaaa my confusion is about the process. I didn't even know there was a Managing Director. Or that she'd make 130k.

@deray @Nettaaaaaaaa at the first meeting, they said they were hiring for the day2day bc it is a lot in one year to do, a MG guides the work

Non-protesters also questioned the move.

@JaneDueker I thought that was planned & mentioned at or before 1st mtg. Either way - not a fan of the commission or this, really.

Yesterday, it was announced the #FergusonCommission will be hiring on a manager for a 6-figure salary. It didn't sit well with protesters.

The #FergusonCommission, meanwhile, is primarily made up of members with comfortable lifestyles who don't deal with poverty, homelessness.

@lattegriot I really do hope, by September 2015, we're saying, "That was a worthwhile exercise, that #FergusonCommission. What a report!"

I contacted @ReverendStarsky this morning about hiring some organizers for jobs they are qualified for. He seems receptive, let's see.
