Good afternoon, St. Louis. Thanks for joining us today. There have been a lot of changes to the Metro Transit system recently including the launch of a new MetroBus service plan in September and the introduction of a new pilot program with Lyft that allows for $1 trips between MetroLink/MetroBus and select areas of the region - so let us know if you have any transit questions.
JimmyZ - We've been analyzing data and collecting customer feedback following the launch of the Metro Reimagined plan on September 30 to evaluate how the new service is operating and see if there are areas where we need to make modifications. One of those areas includes the installation of new bus stops to the system, and we will include your feedback regarding stops for the #56. Thanks for the feedback.
prsongene - Service on the #101 Fenton Connector will continue to be provided by Metro Call-A-Ride vehicles, but in December, we will be making changes to the schedule of the #101 so the service will operate more regularly and better match ridership demands. Details on the new schedule for the #101 - as well as other changes to transit service - will be announced in mid-November.
Brian - No, there are no plans for Metro regarding the Loop Trolley.
Brian - You're probably looking for our friends over at the Road Crew chat.
lwmcf - At this time, there are no new developments or news about MetroLink expansion into these counties. For background, area leaders who are part of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments, our region's metropolitan planning organization, help decide where MetroLink expansion would potentially take place in the future. Any expansion or extension of the system would require a designated funding source.
lwmcf - One of the initial steps toward any expansion of the system would be a design study that would look at items like route alignment and station locations. That analysis would need to be conducted to answer your question.
lwmcf - When the Sunnen MetroLink Station first opened in 2006, it provided a connection to several nearby employers and business areas. While that area has undergone some substantial changes over the years, Sunnen continues to serve the new employers and business in the area, as well as the nearby Sunnen Station Apartments. It averages about 7,000 boardings a month.
