I will pass it along to have our maintenance team check it out. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
I am not aware of any specific instances where the current methods for maintenance and construction have changed. However, I fully expect that equipment, technology and the available materials will continue to change and improve as we move forward into the future, although those changes/improvements may or may not be fully attributable to climate change. As we can, we will incorporate those techniques, materials and equipment. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Someone will check this out - thanks for the heads up.
We do still have some resurfacing, both along the interstate and on Jefferson under the interstate. On Jefferson, it should be roughly in the area that you are speaking of. That should happen later this spring. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Those are repaired by Missouri Logos -- we'll pass this along to them. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Our Operations group will investigate ASAP. (Between last week's wintery nastiness and the potholes spawned by the deep freeze and abrupt thaw, our crews have had their hands full.) David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation
We have a resurfacing project planned for Dougherty Ferry Road - from Des Peres Road to Barrett Station Road - upon which we expect to begin construction either this year or in '22. The project in question encompasses several roads, and at this time, a set schedule hasn't been established. David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation
I am waiting to hear back from my traffic team on this -- if I hear something more, I will share it, either today or next week. Temperatures and the weather do pull our teams away for snow duty (and there was a couple weeks where our maintenance team was working on snow operations around the clock.). It could also be that we are waiting for a part -- during the pandemic, it can sometimes be a challenge to get needed parts in a "normal" amount of time. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Comunications
There is a fairly significant sewer issue that is being repaired. The ramp to Loughborough has been closed for safety while they are working on that repair. We are told that it will probably take about three weeks to finish the repair, weather permitting. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
I'll shared it with our traffic team to look at and see what might be going on out there. Do you happen to have a specific time when you see this? Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
There have been ongoing discussions about the intersection of Grand & Forest Park and some preliminary design. However, it is not currently funded for final design or construction. We'll continue to seek new funding opportunities for this improvement that would be similar to what occurred at Kingshighway & Forest Park.
We got to that one yesterday, northbound curb lane by Bono's. Thanks!
Tis the season for potholes, especially following the weather we had last week. Crews working hard to patch things up. Thanks!
