A few weeks ago, we had a chatter that was asking about some water on Manchester Road near Harwood. We did check with Missouri American -- apparently it is an issue with a service line leading to an adjacent property -- they are working with the owner to get the issue remedied. You may want to check with Missouri American for any additional details they can share. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
We do have agreements with several organizations that use crowdsourcing to supplement the info that comes in, or that we see on the roadway The best way, however, is still to share any information/issues you see on state maintained roadways is still to share them with us by calling our customer service team 24/7 at 314-275-1500 or 1-888-275-6636 -- that makes sure we have the most accurate info (and get it the fastest). That's true, and we definitely discourage a driver from calling. -- but it still remains the best way to make sure that a team knows about it. Relying on someone seeing a report from an app (when they are monitoring cameras, speeds, phone calls and crews in work zones) means that it is very possible that something can get missed. I'm pretty sure that we have an agreement with Waze, but I am checking with our traffic team to verify and see which other orgs we may share data with. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Thanks for the report. Please feel free to contact our Service Request group directly at 314-615-8538 if you spot other pavement issues in the future. David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation
That is currently planned for next year. We really can't do work on Route 370 until we are able to complete the work on the Blanchette Bridge, which is currently underway. Route 370 is a major alternate route for I-70. Since our maintenance forces are doing what they can to hold the roadway together, please let us know if there are specific locations that need patching. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
