Good Afternoon. Thank you for bringing this concern to my attention. Crews we check the signal detection at this location...Larry Tyler / Street and Traffic Liaison
I believe we are still waiting on a part for the signal at Lindbergh and Conway. I'll pass along the Lindbergh and Chaminade concern. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
We anticipate putting this project out for bid this fall (autumn of '22), with construction starting very late in the year or in early '23. David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation
I have shared your concerns about striping with the team overseeing the project, but temporary reflectors don't tend to last long, as traffic drives over them and breaks them off. Since the changes on the project are relatively short term, it isn't cost effective to grind in in-laid pavement markers in for the short time they would be used. If you have specific locations where the stripes are hard to see, please feel free to let our customer service know at (314) 275-1500, and they can share it with the team. As I understand, the roadway will be resurfaced after the I-270 North project is complete. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
You are correct. The utility company is responsible for bringing the pavement back to the original condition when they are finished. I have passed this along to our maintenance team to check out and see if they need to reach out to the utility company for a better patch. We do have a resurfacing project for that roadway that starts in about a year, so until then, our crews will work with the utility companies update those patches. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
