We've asked our construction team to take a look at the signal timing at Gravois and Jefferson to see if they can make any improvements due to the higher traffic levels. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Thanks! We've passed this along to our maintenance team. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications

Thank you for bringing this concern to me. I believe this signal is controlled by Ameren Missouri, but not a hundred percent sure. I will forward this location to Traffic Division for consideration...Larry Tyler / Street & Traffic Liaison
Thanks for sharing your observation. I'll pass this to our maintenance leadership for their consideration. I do know our team strives to try to provide the minimum impact to the roadways as they are trying to maintain the roadway, but it is also helpful for people to pay attention to these vehicles trying to help make sure the road is safe, Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
We are replacing the Black Creek Bridge. Manchester is closed right at Hanley, so you would need to access businesses west of there from Brentwood Boulevard. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
The last we've heard about that permit work is that is may take into late summer before it is complete. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Thanks -- we'll have someone take a look at it and make sure the signals are all pointed correctly. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Missouri American Water is expected to complete this work by early August. All pavement will be restored to its original condition. David Wrone, St. Louis County Department of Transportation
Right now, there are four lanes on Jefferson north of I-64 and two lanes south of Jefferson (with an exit only to Scott), so the two lanes have to close somewhere. We were finding that traffic tended to travel down the exit only lane simply to get over at the last minute to stay on Jefferson. Our construction team will look at the signal timing to see if anything can be adjusted, and we are looking to stripe on the bridge again soon. We appreciate your patience as we move forward to completing this project later this summer. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
We have a resurfacing project set for that area starting next year, although much of the early work there will be sidewalk and pedestrian updates. Until then, our maintenance teams will be doing what they can to maintain the roadway. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Thank you for bringing this concern to me. I just drove Jefferson from Chouteau to Russell, and the traffic flow was clear. Please feel free to reach out to me with any additional concerns...Larry Tyler / Street & Traffic Liaison
Thank you for bringing this concern to me. I will forward to crews for filling of potholes and request consideration for paving in near future...Larry Tyler / Street & Traffic Liaison
This is a permit project, and so isn't run by MoDOT. However, from what we were told, there were some redesign issues that had to be completed. After that, the organization that applied for the permit had to address some other issues before they can complete construction. The latest we have heard, that project is anticipated to be complete later this summer. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
In talking with our construction team, since there is only one lane closed in that area (with three additional lanes available), there was no requirement to lower the interstate speeds for the work zones. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
