What time are you seeing the issue? That will help me share better information with the traffic team to verify. However, the signal from Upper Bottom to east Route 364 has to be controlled by a signal (i.e. what's called a protected turn), since it is a two-lane left turn. It can't be a flashing yellow to allow you to make the turn -- it simply would not be safe. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Thanks -- we'll pass it along to our maintenance team to take a look at. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
You are very welcome. I know our team tries to respond to any concerns that come in (either through the chat room or our customer service team (24/7 - 314/275-1500) ) as quickly as possible. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
You will often have a slight bump as the roadway joins up with the bridge (as the bridge's foundation is into rock, and the roadway may settle a bit as the traffic (especially heavy truck traffic) passes over.) Our team went out recently and did some pavement repairs along I-44 to raise up the approaches to the bridge to make those transitions a little smoother. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Our emergency response team checked it out that day, but I will pass it along again to see if either any repairs that were made need to be readdressed, or if they missed it when they went through. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Unfortunately, that is driver behavior that we can't do much more than we already have. Although people could make the right turn and merge to the left, they are choosing to wait, instead. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Since drivers are supposed to use both lanes -- the left lane at the signal to directly pull into the lanes for I-270 and the right lane to make the turn and then merge to the left for the I-270 lanes -- that would create additional unnecessary delays. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
Numerous Clayton residents/motorists have contacted me this week regarding the recent addition of bike lanes/reduction of 'thru' driving lanes on a multi-block stretch of Maryland Avenue. Questions regarding these changes should be directed to the City of Clayton - which maintains Maryland Avenue. David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation
Although the city maintains the signals on Grand at the ramp, MoDOT has no current plans to relocate the ramp from I-64. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
We're hoping to have it open within the next week or so. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
You're welcome! Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
I've passed it to our maintenance team to check out. Thanks for sharing the information. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
