Good morning -- David Wrone (St. Louis County) and Amanda Brauer (St. Charles County) are not able to join us today. If you have questions for either one of them, though, please feel free to submit them and I will collect them and share the questions with them. They'll share responses on a future chat room. Thanks! Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications

Thanks for sharing your observation -- I have passed it along to our maintenance team to check out. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications

From our traffic management team, we use a variety of signal detection technologies. This includes induction loops, video detection and radar. While we do not have an exact percentage, our team has been moving more and more toward video detection. We use a number of National Transportation Communications for Intelligent Transportation System Protocol/National Electrical Manufacturers Association compliant signal controller brands. Since David Wrone isn't available, I'll share your question with him and he'll respond in a future chat. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
MoDOT considers flashing yellow arrows when there are no more than two opposing lanes that traffic would need to cross. Since there are three lanes heading northbound, this area doesn't meet the requirements for a flashing yellow arrow. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communciations
Thanks for your question -- I will share it with David Wrone (who isn't able to be here this week) -- he'll respond in a future chat. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications
