Thanks for all you folks collectively do. This is for MoDOT (or maybe the City)--on the offbound ramp from westbound I-44 onto Hampton, the directional sign with the arrows has been tagged with some much grafitti that in can hardly be seen. Can this be replaced?

End of the month for all lanes of I-44 to reopened. Why so long? Appears the center barriers are almost complete (although no workers are trying to get it done!).

There are often a lot of little items that have to be taken care of before the roadway is ready to completely reopen. Our goal is to ensure that the roadway is safe before reopening. You don't mention when you are traveling through, but crews do try to avoid on the interstate during rush periods to avoid creating additional congestion. As of now, we are projecting that all of the work will be complete (both on Big Bend and on the interstate) and the roadways reopen by the end of the month, although it is possible that it may be sooner.

On Monday (October 10), Lockwood Avenue will close to all traffic approximately three-quarters of a mile east of Kirkwood Road/Lindbergh Boulevard, in Kirkwood. A St. Louis County DOT contractor will be removing and replacing a box culvert at that location. The closure will remain in effect until early next spring. Motorists are advised to use N. Holmes, E. I thought all the 270/44 overhead signs would be replaced together. Some, like on nb to Watson or eb to Watson, are not reflective anymore.

Only the signs that needed to be updated due to the project were replaced during the project to rebuild the I-44 bridges over the Meramec near I-270. We have a project to update the signs along I-270 starting next year. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications

Lockwood Avenue turns into Adams a mile east of Kirkwood Road. Is the construction actually on Adams?

No. The culvert we're replacing is located very close to the point where Lockwood turns into Adams, but not quite there. It's on Lockwood. David G. Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation

Now that S. Laclede Station Rd has been repaved in front of Gotsch Intermediate School, can the traffic signal or the road sensors in front of the school be repaired? It runs through the red, yellow, green cycle 24/7. Address for the school is 8348 S Laclede Station Rd. Thanks for looking into this.
