There used to be bike lanes on both sides of Jefferson over I-64. They were narrow, but it was something. Now there are nine traffic lanes on the bridge, and no bike lanes. What was the budget for this project, and how much was dedicated to pedestrian/bicycle improvements?

What's up with the stop light on Goodfellow to the government building just south of Stratford? It turns red for no reason for a long time and there's rarely any cars coming out or going into the govt building. Half the time, people on Goodfellow just end up running the red anyway. Any chance to get it flashing yellow?

Thank you for bringing this concern to my attention. The signal at Goodfellow & Government building is still an operational signal location. With occasional vehicles departing from this facility, a flashing yellow light isn't a option for safety reasons...Larry Tyler / Street & Traffic Liaison

I live downtown and it feels like road closures (either for road repairs or special events like parades) are rarely accurately reflected on Google maps. This is obviously frustrating since it requires finding alternate routes on the fly rather than the navigation automatically redirecting around it. For example, 10th street between Olive and Locust was closed for months last year until the closure was finally shown on Google maps, and then after it reopened, google maps inaccurately showed it a closed for a few weeks before it was finally corrected. Another example was the Annie Malone May Day parade, which closed down Market for an afternoon, but was not shown on Google maps. Is there a procedure for letting online mapping software know about these types of temporary closures or are we just relying on Google figuring it out using their crowdsourced traffic data?

Thank you for bringing this concern to my attention. The Google Maps software is privately owned and not affiliated with the City of Saint Louis. Google ie responsible for maintaining and updating their navigation software...Larry Tyler / Street & Traffic Liaison

For the city : the situation with the signal at Kingshighway/Schollmeyer - with it being set to school-season durations - is still an issue, with S getting a 60-second cycle every few minutes, despite no vehicle or pedestrian volume needing it. I thought detection had been installed for S some years ago.
Outside of school hours year-round/during them only for in-session months, this light should always be green for K, outside of demand on S. As it is now, a south-bound K driver who has the S light go red as they approach can easily see 5 minutes elapse before they eventually clear the signal at Gravois/Loughborough, as they have to sit/watch the K light at G cycle green/back to red while stuck at S.
Please address this soon. Thanks. -
