Any update on when repairs to the bridge on Pritchard Farm Rd south of Maryland Heights Expressway will be completed? I believe this is St Louis County maintenance responsibility.

We'll be releasing more details about this closed bridge, and our efforts to get it repaired and reopened, in the very near future. But the short answer is: the structure could remain closed for 12 more months, if not longer. I'll provide much more information about the situation in an upcoming Road Crew. Manchester between Big Bend and Lindbergh is a national embarrassment at this point. Potholes, inconsistent repaving, mis-matched types of payment, etc. Truly terrible re-paving has been done after whatever pipe projects have been occurring. Is there any plan to completely overhaul and revitalize this stretch of the road?

Yes. We are currently in the process of updating many of the sidewalks along that stretch of Manchester Boulevard, as well as updating several signals and some necessary bridge work. When that work is completed later this year, we will be coming through and resurfacing the entire stretch of Manchester between Big Bend and Lindbergh. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications

The intersection of Bonhomme and Brentwood in Clayton grants an entire light cycle to traffic exiting the drop-off loop for Shaw Park, despite almost never having any cars using it. Could this not be solved by allowing cars to exit the loop whenever after yielding to any traffic (or implementing some sort of detection device to only spend a light cycle on the loop when cars are present)? Thanks!

The City of Clayton maintains this section of Brentwood. I would respectfully suggest that you share your concern with the muni. David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation

Need to do better job on traffic control coming from downtown highway 55 south in the construction zone. You have cars speeding in the fast lane when traffic is backed up in the other lanes

We do warn drivers of slowing traffic ahead, and backed up traffic should give drivers a warning that there may be congestion up ahead (as traffic is probably getting over around a slowdown or crash). or having to merge into two lanes from the three lane section. I'm surprised to see there is no right arrow for SB Hanley to WB Manchester. Any reason? That's a very frequent movement, and along with the WB to NB movement popularity, moving cars through faster would be beneficial.

Do you know who manages the McCutchen and Clayton light? Not too long ago, some adjustments were made to the light which once a Red light is presented to both directions of Clayton Rd, the first green granted is to a driveway for a house on the north side of Clayton rd. Then after, a Green light is finally presented to McCutchen Rd, where there is almost always a few cars waiting. I can only imagine those residents on leaving and coming in a few times a day. With Clayton Rd not being terribly busy right there, can't they just yield to the traffic and turn at their own risk?
