Talk to Metro about March 14 service change

Bus routes will change on March 14, especially in north St. Louis County, with the grand opening of the North County Transit Center in Ferguson. Metro can answer all of your questions. Join the experts at noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.

Good Afternoon, St. Louis. Metro is busy gearing up for the March 14, 2016 service change, which will include changes to several MetroBus routes throughout the St. Louis region, including a completely redesigned service plan for North St. Louis County that introduces several new MetroBus routes and modifications to several existing routes. On this date Metro will also open the new North County Transit Center for service. This facility will offer more convenient connections, an indoor waiting area with public restrooms, free parking and more. Metro is getting the word out about this service change through several customer information events this week and next. The public is invited to an open house at the North County Transit Center on Sunday, March 13. We hope to see you there!
Thanks for the updates about the new North County Transit Center! I'm super excited that the bus routes in north county will be more direct and improved.

I'm also wondering what's the latest on the status of the new Cortex Station? This station will be really important for many of my friends who need to catch a bus in that general area to get up North to go home from work.
    ShineSouthCity,
Glad to hear your excited about the new North County Transit Center, we are too! Metro has a number of new projects in the works, including the Boyle MetroLink Station, which will be constructed about mid-way between the Central West End and Grand MetroLink Stations. Design on this project will begin soon, and we anticipate construction will occur in 2017, with an opening late 2017 – 2018. The Boyle Station itself will not have a significant, permanent impact on MetroBus service; the Central West End Station will continue to be the primary MetroBus hub in this area, excepting a brief time when this station will undergo construction.
Thank you for your time this afternoon, St. Louis. We’ll be back next month, and in the interim you may always reach us at customerservice@metrostlouis.org or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
