A question for MODOT . . . now that the Meramec Bridge project is wrapping up on I-44, are there any plans to update the pre-exit(?) signs on WB I-44 to reflect the new exit location for North Highway Drive and Soccer Park Road? They now happen about a half mile sooner, before I-270, instead of after crossing the river. (https://goo.gl/maps/x5b6WUZttBfuf1Bv9 and goo.gl Thanks!

In checking with our construction team, we have already updated the signs to indicate the new exit locations as a part of this project. However, that was part of a structural sign replacement. I have asked our traffic team to check on it and make sure it is accurate. Andrew Gates. MoDOT Communications

Hello, would you please add a few more seconds to the left turn signal at WB Gravois and Weber Hill Road? Presently, the light only permits traffic exiting I-270 to receive a green signal. Traffic traveling west on Gravois consistently receives a red signal when trying to turn left onto Weber Hill Road.

Regarding the left turn signal at WB Gravois and Weber Hill Road, I am seeing this issue each evening around 6-8pm.

In a recent Road Crew, a motorist reported that evening rush hour traffic was backing up on Hoyt Drive at Forest Park Parkway, and asked that we add more 'green' time to Hoyt's signal. Our signals group investigated, and determined that additional 'green' time was in fact warranted. Traffic flow on Hoyt has greatly improved as a result of the adjustment. Last week, a Road Crew chatter asked about the status of our plans to improve McKelvey Road between Glenpark Drive and Creve Coeur Mill Road in Maryland Heights. We are still engaged in right of way acquisition negotiations for this project, and have, as a result, not yet put the job out for bid. We expect to do so by this summer. A projected 'start' date has not yet been determined. David Wrone, St. Louis County's Department of Transportation.

Issue for MODOT--on westbound I-44 once you cross over the Vandeventer bridge, the payment is decaying and forming a pothole. This is in the second lane from the right. Can you send a crew to patch it? Thanks for all that you do!

There is a large pothole on Ulena Ave at Eiler St that surrounds a manhole cover. This is a highly traveled cut through street where speeding is prevalent. Can the pothole be filled and the traffic slowed down?

Andrew, thanks for checking. I guess it boils down to whether one rounds up or rounds down? Checking Google's Streetview, again, the new exit is at MM 276.6. The "1¾" warning is near MM 278.4 (1.8 miles) and the "¾" warning is near MM 277.6 (1.0 mile). Close enough, and better than the old ones that said "2½" and "1", respectively. (Interesting that the old warnings showed a 1½ mile difference, while the new ones only show a mile difference, even the the locations of both signs didn't change.)
