Are there any plans to widen Highway N going west from Summers road (basically where 364 terminates in Lake Saint Louis)? Subdivisions keep going in down N, with more already approved, and traffic is making it dangerous to enter/leave the road.

From what I am told, work will continue on the interchange into next year. You can see the latest on that permit project here:

At the intersection of Lindbergh and Ladue, is there any possibility to allow U turns there similar to Lindbergh and Baur/Scheutz? Not sure why its not allowed on one intersection but allowed on another.

I have passed your suggestion on to our traffic team to evaluate -- there can be a number of reasons why a U-turn might not be appropriate for an intersection -- amount of traffic, distance you can see oncoming traffic, etc. If I hear something back from them, I will share it in a future chat. Does the street dept. have any control over the lane closures on the Ameren project? Lanes are closed for days/weeks with no work going on.

Typically, the special use permit we issue to utility companies specifies a number of days by which work on our streets must be complete. So long as that number hasn't been exceeded, there's not much we can do to require/force a contractor to resume work. River de Peres Blvd from Gravois to Landsdowne is in terrible condition. Large sections of pavement have been patched again and again, curbs are busted up or missing, the same potholes open up every season, several sections lack drainage, the lanes are narrow and suddenly shift left or right, there is no shoulder, pedestrian access is poor, on and on. With all of the infrastructure money coming, is there any thought of tearing RDPB down to bare dirt and rebuilding it?

On 18th street between Gratiot and Clark needs to be repaved. The road is ruff and potholes and is causing damage to tires and rims.

The new striping on Jefferson at 64 is confusing a lot of people both North and Southbound. The Southbound has three thru lanes on the overpass then one turns into left only can the left turn lane be marked earlier? The Northbound barriers confuse folks wanting to go west on 64 which causes a bottleneck by the stopped vehicles wanting to change lanes.

There is still construction underway at that project, with the new ramp from 22nd Street scheduled to open before the end of the year. That will change how traffic flows at the intersection. However, I will pass your observations along to the construction team. Andrew Gates, MoDOT Communications

At Hanley and Manchester, heading north, the west bound light signal goes to red after short green arrow. Once southbound traffic is through, you sit watching nothing happen while you could easily make safe left turn. Please fix this, and I am sure there are dozens with same issues.

There’s a pothole in the right lane of southbound McCausland as soon as you cross Oakland/Clayton near the HiPointe Theater.

Dear sir, traveling East bound 270, the exit ramp to 370 is in terrible shape. Potholes everywhere. I would have thought they would have fixed the ramp with all the construction on 370 by the mills mall. Please let someone know, road needs desperate repairs.

When will the contractor remove the lane restrictions on River City Blvd? The lanes have been blocked for weeks on end with only sporadic work going on. They are working on the Germania side of the project now.
